Audio Network, a company specialising in music for broadcast, film and online is opening an office in Manchester.
It will be headed up by Sophie Zurawski, who relocates from London.
The move comes as the company places a new focus on European television production. This sees the promotion of Lina Tebbs, its former head of creative and sync to head of TV, Europe. It’s also brought in Rebecca Thomas from Zodiak Rights to be its key account manager.
“Television is one of Audio Network’s primary markets, so a significant investment and focus is crucial,” explained Tebbs.
“I am really excited about the expansion of the team, and working with the best in the field will enable us to develop and hone our offering to the market. It is strategic moves like this that help Audio Network gain recognition as a high growth company.”
The Manchester office is expected to open in 2015, with the aim of supporting the region’s production companies.
Prolific North did ask how many staff would be based in Manchester, but there was no response at the time of publication.
