Fantastic appoints Head of Audience Development

Leeds’ Fantastic Media has recruited Richard Rowlands as its head of audience development.

He joins from Factory Media, where spent 2 years as online editor of Ride UK BMX Magazine, before being promoted to head of audience development.

“I want to take everything that I’ve learnt working in action sports and audience growth and apply this to new industries,” he said.

Fantastic Media is an exciting company to work with, and I’m looking forward to helping the business grow and to boost the digital marketing offering for clients.

Rowlands’ arrival underlines a growing demand for social media, explained managing director, Andy Hobson:

“With the marketing requirements of our clients changing all the time, we are continuously investing in our staff and adding experts in areas to manage their needs.

“Digital marketing, in particular social media engagement and audience building, is a strategy that we have been offering for a number of years. It is set to be a growing focus for many of our clients and Richard joining the team will bring benefits to them.”
