Having experienced a recent strong period of trading, Leeds-based retailer Joe Browns has announced its new strategy to reach £100m in annual sales by 2026.

Reporting year-over-year growth of 68% at the beginning of the autumn-winter period, the retailer of fashion and homeware is targeting an increase in turnover of 138%.

The company has revealed that its marketing department is growing as part of these plans, while its ecommerce team is set to double in size.

Jane Reik, formerly Buying Director at N Brown, has taken up the same role at Joe Browns, focusing on developing the retailer’s products and processes.

“During the last few months, we have had time to reflect on the next part of the journey for Joe Browns,” said CEO Simon Brown.

“We start from a cracking place of sustained growth over the last 23 years, a strong performance throughout the pandemic and an excellent start to the AW21 season.

“Consumers over the last 18 months have also become more confident with their fashion and homes style choices. This is exactly where Joe Browns has and always will excel.

“Our growth strategy, put simply, is about building on our existing customer base through new retail partners, marketplaces and our owned channels.”
