Double director appointment at integrated agency Plinkfizz
Kirsty Hewson and Rob Forster have been promoted to Plinkfizz's board of directors, four years after they both joined the agency.
Hewson has been made PR and Outreach Director, having originally started at the Stoke integrated agency as a PR Account Manager. Forster, who joined as Head of Studio, has been promoted to Studio and Creative Director.
The two figures have been working with Managing Director Fiona Hawkins, and Director Paul Hawkins, in order to support clients and develop the agency's offering.
Fiona Hawkins said: “We have had a significant shift in direction and culture over the past four years and Rob and Kirsty have been pivotal in helping us support the team with these changes. Last year, during the pandemic like all businesses, we didn’t know what the future was going to bring but Rob and Kirsty were both steadfast in their support and helped keep the business operating."
Plinkfizz, which won Best Professional & Financial Services Campaign at the 2020 Northern Marketing Awards, has also recently hired its first apprentice.
Forster said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be invited to join the board of directors and look forward to further assisting the business on a strategic level supporting the growth aspirations of Plinkfizz as well as continuing to push our clients forward creatively.
“We have a very talented and dedicated team with expertise in digital marketing and a studio of highly creative designers, so this is an exciting time to be part of Plinkfizz, working with existing and new clients to help them achieve their goals.”
Hewson added: “I’m over the moon to be recognised with this accolade. I’ve loved Plinkfizz from the beginning. The ethos and culture is completely aligned with my own personal views and so I have always wanted to build my career with Fiona, Paul and the team. We have some incredible clients and have built outstanding relationships with each one. I’m very proud to be a part of Plinkfizz and I’m excited to be a part of its strategy for growth moving forward.”
