Social Chain promotes Oliver Yonchev to head up US operation

Manchester-headquartered Social Chain Group has announced the appointment of Oliver Yonchev as Managing Director of its North American Operation.

Yonchev was previously Global Business Director of Social Chain and helped to executive strategies for clients including Amazon, Coca-Cola, FIFA and Warner.

The company opened a New York office in 2017 and plans to open additional US offices in LA, San Francisco and Chicago.

Yonchev said: “I have had the pleasure of working at The Social Chain Group in the UK and being part of a team that has seen tremendous growth, the execution of award-winning campaigns and industry-firsts.

“I am now thrilled to further my responsibility within the company and be an instrumental force for the company’s US expansion.”

Social Chain Group first set up a New York office in 2017 and says its North American operation achieved year-on-year revenue growth of 900% in 2018. Clients include Boohoo, Grenade, Nasty Gal, and Brita.
