Aimia Foods rebrands for first time since the 80s

Liverpool’s OneMay has completed a rebrand of Aimia Foods – it’s the first time the company’s identity has been changed since it was formed 35 years ago.

As well as producing its own-brand products, the North West group manages, manufactures and distributes global brands including Horlicks, Galaxy and PG Tips.

“We wanted to refresh our identity to be fresher, clearer and distinct that allows us to talk about the brands that we are proud to work with, without sacrificing the equity in the Aimia Foods brand,” explained an Aimia spokesperson.

“This has all started with a logo that has been designed for maximum impact that sits well next to other logos.”

OneMay was brought in to create the new visual and verbal identity and to help position it as a “house of brands.”

“The result of our collaboration is a brand that employees can be proud of, and an identity that has clarity and impact wherever it is used, whether taking centre stage, or as an umbrella brand, taking a back seat to the product brands Aimia proudly work with,” explained Martin Porter, OneMay Co-Founder.
