Performance marketing agency, Reprise, has named Danny Blackburn as its new Chief Strategy Officer.

Leeds-based Blackburn has been promoted to the role having worked at IPG Mediabrands’ Stickyeyes for 6 years. Then following its acquisition, he became Content Managing Partner at Reprise.

“I’m thrilled to be appointed as Chief Strategy Officer at Reprise during such an exciting time for the business,” he said.

“We’ve got some amazing opportunities ahead of us to elevate performance marketing strategy, and I’m looking forward to working with our teams to continue driving long-term impact for our growing client portfolio. It’s a great opportunity for me to work even more closely with our brilliant teams to learn and evolve together.”

In the new position, he’ll be leading on strategy for the UK&I and for many of its global clients, led from London.  The promotion will also see him join the agency’s executive leadership team.

“This new role has been created at a time when the agency is on a staggering growth trajectory and is servicing renowned clients such as NatWest, Amazon and the LEGO Group,” said Reprise’s UK & Ireland CEO, Chloe Hawking.

“We are delighted that Danny is taking on this leadership position at Reprise. His deep customer insight, background in content strategy, curious mind and collaborative style make him the ideal candidate to represent and advance our performance strategy capabilities.”

Reprise is part of the Mediabrands division of Interpublic Group. The agency has over 530 staff in the UK alone.
