GIANT COMFY CHAIR STOPS PASSENGERS IN THEIR TRACKS AT KINGS CROSS SQUAREEast Coast Trains took some home comfort from Yorkshire to London’s Kings Cross Square today with a giant chair.

The installation, designed by Leeds agency Intermarketing, and the living room – complete with giant chair, lamp, coffee table and books – is staying in the recently opened square outside the mainline London station throughout Friday 11 and Saturday 12 October.

It’s part of an advertising campaign that York based East Coast recently launched called ‘Feel at Home’.

East Coast Commercial and Customer Service Director Peter Williams said: “There’s a strong social and data element too as passengers can get their photo taken on the giant chair and share their pictures and videos via social channels, while we’ve also got sampling and experiential teams handing out ‘Feel at Home packs’ and getting customers involved. It’s certainly captured people’s attention this morning and allows people to engage with our brand a bit differently than usual.”
