Consumer goods company PZ Cussons has appointed the City PR firm College Hill to support its financial and corporate relations work across a number of overseas markets.
PZ, which is a FTSE 250 company, is head quartered adjacent to Manchester Airport.
Its brands include Imperial Leather, Original Source, Carex, Charles Worthington and St Tropez and the company’s key markets span Europe, Africa and the Far East.
It is understood that College Hill was appointed without a competitive pitch.
The work was previously handled by MHP Communications.
Brandon Leigh, group finance director of PZ Cussons said that “our decision to appoint them was based on the quality of the consulting team and by the wider support and resources that are clearly available throughout the firm.”
The College Hill team will be led out of its London office.
In the UK, PZ Cussons retains two Manchester agencies to support its consumer comms activities: Weber Shandwick and Brazen.
