Manchester agency sweeps up Private Midwives account
The Manchester agency will be focussing on building both the brand and private midwifery product category.
Private Midwives, formerly known as UK Birth Centres, was established in 2012 and has since seen a 10-fold increase in the booking of private midwife services in the past five years.
The CQC-registered and regulated service is now the UK’s leading provider of private midwifery care, and provides birth supports in NHS hospitals through its partnerships with 10 NHS trusts across the UK.
Eduard Sparkes, chief executive officer at Private Midwives, said: “From the outset, PR Agency One demonstrated a clear understanding of the business and perfectly understood our PR and marketing objectives and how to achieve them. As a team we felt they possessed the experience and credentials we were looking for, especially within the healthcare sector.
“As well as providing hardworking, creative PR campaigns, they also specialise in PR that drives online conversions – this was key for us in order to increase traffic to the website and boost bookings. Their understanding and credentials in both areas really impressed us.”
James Crawford, managing director at PR Agency One, added: “We were thrilled to have been appointed to work with Private Midwives on their PR and marketing strategy. They are a successful and fast-growing business and are leading the way with providing expectant mothers with additional choices to suit their needs and preferences.
“We have great experience in the healthcare sector and have been responsible for the launch of a number of successful private healthcare launches.”
Private Midwives joins a client list that includes One4all Gift Cards, the Buy It Direct Group, Locum Doctors Union, RADA and Minky Homecare.
