Chinese construction group behind Airport City appoints Ashurst Communications

Manchester’s Ashurst Communications has been appointed to handle the UK public relations for the international property developer and construction company BCEGI.

Owned by the Chinese state, Beijing Construction Engineering Group International is working on £1.7bn of developments across the North West, including the £800m Airport City development; the £700m Middlewoeod Locks operation; and the £200m St Michael’s scheme.

Based in Castlefield, Ashurst specialises in PR for the property and construction sectors.
