Manchester-based Laterooms has teamed up with news and lifestyle website, Gay Star News, for the world’s first ever Digital Pride Festival.

The interactive, online LGBT Pride culminates in a real festival taking place in central London.

“Helping make great experiences happen and bringing people together is what LateRooms.com does best, which is why we’re thrilled to be teaming up with Gay Star News for this year’s Digital Pride,” explained Andrea Tarpey, head of communications for LateRooms.com.

“The opportunity Digital Pride presents for the LGBT community around the globe is extraordinary, making the celebrations truly inclusive and accessible. In particular, we’re looking forward to festival day itself where the LateRooms.com team will be giving the audience the chance to win some great travel experiences.”

Laterooms is hoping for 1.5m active users at the digital festival in the first year.

Earlier this month, it launched a £1.8m “It’s Going to be a Great Night” campaign, which runs throughout April.
