Tangerine on board for Science in Sport awareness brief

Tangerine has been appointed by endurance sports nutrition company, Science in Sport (SiS), to maximise awareness ahead of the brand’s "biggest" year to date.

High-profile ambassadors for the brand include Sir Chris Hoy and Katarina Johnson-Thompson, and this week it was unveiled as Team Sky’s official sports nutrition partner from 2016.

Tangerine will deliver an integrated communications strategy that will look to elevate the brand’s presence and activate its valuable assets within its core endurance sports, including running, triathlon and cycling.

Mary Harding, consumer MD at Tangerine, said: “Science in Sport is a natural brand fit for us at Tangerine. Many of us are fans of SiS products, as we’ve all relied on them at some point, so it’s great to be supporting such a premium brand.

“With our experience of managing high profile ambassadors and knowledge of the sports industry, it’s time to take SiS to the next level, and we’re working on some exciting plans for the year ahead.”

SiS's products include isotonic energy gels, hydration tablets and a protein powder range.
