Motionlab handed creative and digital brief by further education specialists

Motionlab has been appointed by RCU Limited as its creative and digital marketing partner.

The Lancashire agency has been tasked with developing a fully integrated, multichannel campaign to help Preston-based RCU – which provides consultancy and intelligence to the further education and skills sector – reach existing audiences as well as new markets.

Motionlab has already begun the job, redeveloping RCU’s corporate website and modernising its corporate identity through a comprehensive rebranding exercise.

Motionlab CEO Simon Iredale said: “Prior to our involvement, RCU already enjoyed a very strong position with 80% of their target market already engaged with the company and its services.

“However, we firmly believe that there is further opportunity to not only cement this foothold, but to engage and convert this audience to drive more sales.”

Chris Lee, RCU’s director of marketing and communications, added: “From our initial contact with Motionlab we immediately sensed that they possessed the creative and digital nous required to position RCU as THE voice of authority on data analysis within the further education sector. Everything they have produced since then has reaffirmed that view.”

Founded in 2004, Motionlab is now a £1.8m business employing a team of 40.
