Creative Marketing Services appoints new head of digital

Leeds-based advertising agency group Creative Marketing Services (CMS) has appointed Rachel Firth as head of digital.

Prior to joining CMS, Firth coordinated online marketing at clothing retailer Damart and she also had wide-ranging experience from previous e-commerce roles at Accent Clothing and William Lamb Footwear.

She will be responsible for the planning and implementation of a full range of digital services, including conversion rate optimisation, data analysis, PPC, SEO, content strategy, remarketing, e-marketing and web design, build and optimisation.

CMS managing director, Andrew Batty, said: ‘Having worked client-side for four major brands,

Rachel brings a wealth of expertise and creative skills to lead the agency’s digital team.  In the past few years our digital business has enjoyed a substantial growth and now complements our considerable strengths in traditional media.

“Rachel will help to ensure that both arms continue to work together as an integrated agency service which is able to objectively advise on the most cost-effective way to market an organisation then implement the strategy to excellent effect.”

Now in its 33rd year, CMS is based at Hollinthorpe Hall, near Junction 46 of the M1, the company has a client list of public, private and third sector organisations.
