Macclesfield integrated digital, PR and brand agency, We are Vibe, has been acquired by a brand consultancy from the town.
In a low key move – announced with a simple paragraph on the website’s home page saying: “HOT NEWS!!! Vibe are now part of Charles Mason Brand Communications. Watch this space for developments…”
David Barratt MD of Charles Mason said that although Vibe Limited the company will cease to exist, the Vibe brand will continue to run alongside the Charles Mason brand which has been in business in Cheshire for almost 25 years.
He said: ”Vibe has been a great competitor of ours for the last 7 years and we are delighted to bring them into our group. The combination of Vibe’s digital strength with our fully integrated comms offering will positively enhance our services both to our own existing clients and Vibe’s former clients. We particularly welcome the added value gained from the team members who have moved over and who have integrated seamlessly already into our company.”
Prolific North understands that a couple of previous clients have been left wondering where they stand with the change of ownership.
The company is operating from one single base, 3 floors of the Paradise Silk Mill in Macclesfield where Vibe won a major contract to deliver public relations for the £90m redevelopment last year.
