Carat Manchester wins slice of Pizza Hut planning and buying account

Pizza Hut has awarded a large slice of its UK media planning and buying account to Carat Manchester.

The agency will now handle all promotion of the “dine in” menu and regional campaigns for Pizza Hut UK restaurants.

Starcom MediaVest Group, which had held the £11m combined restaurant and takeaway business for Pizza Hut since 2004, has kept hold of the takeaway business.

John Mathieson, strategy director at Carat, said: “This is an especially exciting time for the Pizza Hut restaurant business and we look forward to helping them achieve their ambitions.”

Pizza Hut also works with Manchester agencies McCann Manchester and Amaze.
