The production team at ACC Liverpool, home to the Echo Arena and BT Convention Centre, has won contracts for three high-profile conferences and exhibitions.
NHS Confederation, British Association of Urological Surgeons and Accelerate 2014 have all chosen to keep production and technical in-house at the venue after competitive tender processes.

The three events take place in June this year and are expected to attract a total of around 5,300 delegates. Each will take elements from the venue’s At Your Service programme, a menu of services available for event organisers.
Nigel Clarke, ACC Liverpool production manager – sales and business development, said: “Each of these events has been held at ACC Liverpool in the past and each organiser has chosen to use our in-house expertise which is a reflection of our client relationships and their trust in our team.
“As much as we welcome providing support for production agencies, it is encouraging to build up a portfolio to show our range of in-house services.”
Eija Hakkinen, interim head of events at NHS Confederation, added: “We have built up a strong relationship with ACC Liverpool over a number of years and were impressed with how the production department understood our vision and interpreted this by providing a host of creative options, all within budget.
“We are confident the team will deliver on every aspect of our event and anticipate another successful NHS Confederation in June.”
