Lancaster-based SearchQuest Europe Ltd, which claims to be one of the UK’s first internet marketing agencies, is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
Launched by MD Vilayte Essa in 2000, the business now employs 50 staff with plans to grow to 80.
It’s also bought a new, expanded premises nearby in order to accommodate the agency’s growing team.
Essa said: “SearchQuest was one of the first internet marketing agencies to be launched in the UK and now, 15 years later, we are one of the strongest contenders in our field thanks to our forward-thinking, innovative approach to business and digital marketing.
“Many internet marketing and SEO agencies are based in London, but we are extremely proud to represent the thriving, buzzing city that is Lancaster and put it on the map. We recently bought a stunning Georgian building which we are currently renovating with the aim of highlighting its original features, but adding a modern twist.
“As soon as the renovation is complete, we will be expanding into the building and will be increasing our staff numbers from 50 to 80 in the coming months.”
SearchQuest specialises in SEO, PPC, social media marketing, web design, web development and content marketing.
