North West studios will be represented at a gaming (and grill) festival based in Manchester this Friday.

iPlayGaming has been set up for social and competitive gamers and will involve multiplayer competitions as well as getting to grips with some of the new releases on offer.

Showcasing their offerings will be Manchester’s Pixelbomb Games and Torque Studios. Pixelbomb is behind the post-apocalyptic Beyond Flesh and Blood, which is set in the city. Torque has created Glitchrunners, a multi-player, digital heist, where users break into abandoned video games.

It all takes place at Gorilla in Manchester, with retro games installed from the last 30 years, from FIFA and Street Fighter to Mario Kart.
