Mediaworks has bolstered its team with the addition of 12 new staff.

The appointments, which were all made in the past two months, take headcount at the Newcastle agency to 74.

Chris Ogle, Francis McGinty, Sarah Simpson, Tanya Mallaburn and Amy Pilkington have all joined the agency's business development department from a variety of sales backgrounds.

Justina Rimkeviciute and Charlotte Pattison have joined the digital marketing team, Gileng Sullivan has moved from Virgin as a project manager, and there are four new additions to the client relations team - Francesca Barras, Charlotte Fuller, Stephanie Beadling and Jasmine Forster.

MD Brett Jacobson said: "2015 has been an outstanding year for Mediaworks. All of the 12 new recruits are joining the business at an exciting time of growth and I’m confident their skills and experience will be crucial in helping us continue our success into 2016.

"We are currently recruiting for our next apprentice scheme. By working with the industry’s rising stars, we will be able to continue to exceed our clients’ expectations with our quality and effective campaigns."
