The BBC is to run an event next month to highlight career opportunities within its Future Media department for people with disabilities.

The free event, to take place at MediaCityUK on March 6th, promises behind-the-scenes insight into the workings of Future Media, which is responsible for services such as iPlayer, BBC websites, games and apps, and the Red Button.

It will provide an opportunity to meet disabled staff and learn about working for the BBC and the support available.

The event is open to people with disabilities who are already working in technology – or are recent disabled graduates with a relevant degree, such as computer science.

To attend the event, email your CV or LinkedIn profile link to nicola.crowther@bbc.co.uk by February 27th. Spaces are limited and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
