Manchester United signs online games deal with KamaGames

Manchester United has signed a deal with KamaGames, which will see the Dublin-based firm become its official social games partner.

kamamanutdThe games developer will launch a range of social casino games carrying United’s branding, logo, imagery and “themes.”

“Manchester United is lucky enough to have a huge global following and we understand the importance of engaging with and entertaining our fans. KamaGames and their innovative products will allow us to do this in new and exciting ways,” said United group managing director, Richard Arnold.

“We are delighted to welcome them as our first official global social games partner and look forward to creating a successful partnership for many years.”

The firm publishes games for mobile platforms, online, Steam, Xbox Live and PlayStation, claiming a total reach of 70m users worldwide and more than 1m active daily players.

CEO Danny Hammett, said of the global, “multi-year” deal:

“We are proud and honoured to be associated with such a great team and iconic brand, and we look forward to building a strong relationship with the club and its fans.”
