SEONext eyes international expansion and more than tripling turnover

Search engine optimisation firm, SEONext is targeting a £6m turnover next year after revealing a £1.6m turnover for 2012.

This marks a 60% increase on 2011 for the Sharp Project-based company, which will open its first office in Australia later this year.

“We’re absolutely thrilled with our progress over the last 12 months. To demonstrate growth on this scale, in what are some of the leanest times the global economy has experienced, is incredible. Just four years ago we were a bedroom operation. Now, we have a new base in one of the most talked about tech-hubs in Europe and are expanding into the southern hemisphere,” said managing director, Justin Blackhurst.

Blackhurst set up the firm with his brother and a university friend in 2009. They now have their head office in East Manchester, a manual work operation in India, a sales office in Miami and the Sydney outlet coming on line this Spring.

“Our growth plans are aggressive but we really see an opportunity in worldwide expansion. We’re also going to be focusing heavily on research and development – with changes taking place minute by minute in the world of SEO, we have to be one step ahead of the game when it comes to trends and behavioural patterns,” continued Blackhurst.

He said that the company currently has more than 150 clients in the UK and employs 12 people in the North West and over 180 in New Delhi.
