Jigsaw24, Britain’s biggest Apple reseller, has been put up for sale according to the Sunday Telegraph.
The company is based in Nottingham but has a second office at the Greenhouse in Manchester’s MediaCityUK. Manchester-based private equity group NorthEdge Capital has now started the process of finding a buyer for Jigsaw24 by hiring Clearwater Corporate Finance, according to the report.
NorthEdge, which specialises in investments across the North, bought a majority stake in Jigsaw24 in 2013. However, the group is said to be concerned that individuals and businesses are holding onto their smartphones for longer because of economic uncertainty.
Prolific North has contacted NorthEdge Capital and is awaiting a response.
