New talent management agency Red 13 Management has opened its doors at MediaCityUK.

Red 13, which already represents more than 200 young performers, has taken up residence in the serviced Orega offices in Blue Tower. The agency is looking to expand its books to take on adult actors seeking roles in TV, films, commercials and stage productions as well.

Founders, Lauren Shippey and Freddie Bolt have been running 13 Performing Arts schools based in Manchester and Leeds since 2013, in partnership with Coronation Street star, Jack P Shepherd.

Bolt said: “Our performing arts schools have been really popular, and a talent management company seemed like the natural next step for offering our students a way into the industry.

“MediaCityUK is the ideal location for our casting agency, as we already have a close working relationship with casting directors and producers at ITV, the BBC and CBBC who are based here, so this gives us great access to them, as well as putting our students at the centre of the industry.”
