Andy Crane is returning to present BBC Radio Manchester’s Drivetime show from Monday.
The broadcaster, who stepped down as part of a shake-up at the station in 2013, will replace Sam Walker, who is leaving to spend time with her family.
Crane will continue with his Saturday and Sunday slots on Key 2 as well as his five day a week BBC commitments.
The former Children’s BBC man, who has been broadcasting for more than 30 years, is also presenting the Northern Marketing Awards tonight.
