Channel 4 has ordered a second series of True Norths’ Homes by the Sea.
Presented by architectural designer, Charlie Luxton, series one explored the variety of styles of homes around Britain’s coastal towns and villages.
It is one of the highest performing originations in More4’s history, with an audience of 712k for its launch episode and a series average of 515k. That’s up 42% compared to the channel’s slot average.
“Homes By The Sea was one of several breakthrough features series last year on More 4. It was a beautifully crafted show, delivered at pace on a tight budget. Charlie Luxton and the team at True North did a great job and a second voyage is well-deserved,” said deputy head of features, Alex Menzies.
The series is produced by True North, with Andrew Sheldon the executive producer and Christian Hills the series producer.
