Bauer Media has confirmed that John Dash, its regional content director for Yorkshire, has left the company with immediate effect.
Dash had been in the role – which saw him oversee 96.3 Radio Aire, 96.9 Viking FM, Hallam FM and Magic Yorkshire – for less than a year after moving from Bauer’s Radio Clyde, where he was programme director.
He’s previously worked for UTV Media as ILR group programme director and was programme director at Piccadilly Radio for three years in the mid-90s.
He has now gone back to running his own consultancy, John Dash PR & Media.
Owen Ryan, group content director of Bauer Place North of England and Scotland, said: “John Dash has decided to leave the business to restart his successful PR and media business. We wish him all the very best for the future.”
