How big’s your telly? The Printworks in Manchester is getting in the Fifa World Cup spirit with its own northern World-Cup anthem.

They’re busy filming around the city for a music video called ‘Our Telly’s Bigger Than Your Telly’.

It’s produced and performed by Aniff Akinola aka Box Bottom, famed for co-writing songs such as the Top 20 hit; A Guy Called Gerald’s classic house anthem ‘Voodoo Ray’, Urban Cookies’ ‘Key The Secret’ and Backyard Dog’s ‘Baddest Ruffest’.

He said: “Manchester is home to two of the biggest clubs in the world, I live and breath Manny its music and attitude, and l wanted to do a song that reflected Manchester’s love of football.”

The video for ‘Our Telly’s Bigger Than Your Telly’ is also rumoured to feature a number of high profile celebrities and filming will be resumed on 15th May at sites in Manchester; the track will also be available to pre-order from iTunes on 8th May.

All proceeds will go to local charity Forever Manchester which raises and distributes money to support local people and groups trying to make a positive change in the neighbourhoods across Greater Manchester.

Centre Director at The Printworks, Fred Booth said: “The song is a great way for the community to get behind something fun and exciting and to show support of our team and pride for our city. We really hope the track raises a lot for Forever Manchester a charity really close to our hearts, and who knows maybe even hit the Top Ten in the charts.”

You can pre-order the track from 8th May and tweet using #ourtelly.
