“Nerdy boys and geeky girls” will be swapping text books for hardcore clubbing in a new E4 series co-produced by Shine North.
Announced today by Channel 4, the 6 x 60 minute series is being made by Shine North and GME and was commission by head of formats, Dominic Bird and commissioning editor, Jilly Pearce.
Each week a group of “geeks” will jet off to some of world’s most famous party destinations, from Ibiza to Vegas. They’ll live together and get VIP access all area passes to all the best clubs and parties.
Geeks will examine their reaction and whether they’ll be a fish out of water or feel at home in this brand new world.
The executive producers are Rick Murray for Shine North and Tony Moulsdale and Melanie Darlaston for GME. Shine North is based at MediaCityUK.
