Former Blue Peter and Most Haunted presenter Yvette Fielding is to join Glen Hunt as co-host of Real Radio Breakfast for one week starting next Thursday 20 June. Hunt’s co-anchor Lorna Bancroft will be on holiday.
Prior to this guest spot, Fielding’s other more recent guest appearances have been primarily on TV with spots on on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Loose Women, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Come Dine With Me, The Wright Stuff, 8 Out of 10 Cats and The Paul O’Grady Show.
Stockport-born Fielding lives in Cheshire.
She and her husband Karl Beattie also run an independent production company, Antix Productions, which has recently moved more into corporate TV work.
Fielding said: “I am thrilled to be asked to cover for Lorna and to work with Glen.
“It will be loads of fun and I’m sure we will have a laugh, mainly because I don’t know what I’m doing. As it’s radio and as long as I can do it in my pyjamas and slippers and get a cuppa I’ll be fine.”
