Three years since it was established, content supplier, Copify, has appointed its first full-time employee.

Based in Lancaster, the firm claims to be the country’s biggest supplier of web content and the last 12 months have seen a major surge in demand. This is mainly due to changes to Google’s algorithms, with increased emphasis on quality content.

Copify works with internet marketing agencies as well as Auto Trader, Appliances Online and AsiaRooms and more and more work is coming from North America and Australia.

While it relies upon a remote workforce of freelancers, Annie Gouk will be the first full-time employee. Working out of its office at InfoLab21, she’ll oversee the delivery of content alongside directors Martin Harrison and Rob McVey.

“We are delighted to welcome Annie to the team, in what we feel is a really exciting first appointment for us. This demonstrates our commitment to quality and turnaround, which will help us to improve our already strong reputation and client retention rate,” said Harrison.
