Manchester agency, Love, has announced a 25% increase in revenue and the hire of a strategy director.

Neil Bennett takes up the newly created role, having left London’s AnalogFolk, where his clients included Absolut Vodka and Malibu. Prior to that, he was at Mother.

“Neil is at the sharp end of technology, innovation and culture.  He will provide insights and thought leadership that will guide and inspire our clients. We work with some of the best and most ambitious brands in the world and Neil will be pivotal in developing compelling ideas that redefine those brands and shake-up sectors,” stated CEO, Trevor Cairns.

Bennett’s arrival takes the agency’s head count to more than 60 and as a result, the company has taken a second floor at their Dale Street headquarters. Once building work is complete, it will have more than 12,000 square feet of office space.

“It’s been an incredible 15 years since our beginnings in a tiny office above a pub on Tib Street where the BT engineers who came to set up our phone lines assumed that with the name Love we were a sex-line business,” said Dave Palmer, founder and executive creative director.

“It’s testimony to the talent of our team that most of our growth has come from existing clients. Time and again, we’re delivering work that proves effective at building brands, engaging customers and impacting the bottom line. And that’s why they stay with us.”
