Kevin Peake
Marketing expert Kevin Peake has been appointed as sales and marketing director at national law firm Irwin Mitchell.
Peake, who has been recognised as a leading marketing figure during a career with a number of leading brands, said he was excited at the scale of the opportunity ahead within the legal sector. He will be based at the Sheffield office.
His appointment is the latest senior hire in Irwin Mitchell’s ongoing recruitment programme which has seen 11 appointments at partner-level across the business’s legal and support teams since the start of May 2014.
Peake, who has worked for major brands such as npower, Aviva and Abbey National during a highly successful career, will be tasked with ensuring Irwin Mitchell remains at the forefront of the developing legal sector and continues to meet the changing demands of both business and private clients.

Peake’s previous experience has included award-winning TV campaigns including the Wallace and Gromit adverts for npower and sponsorship for the England cricket team, again with the energy firm, as well as in product development across a range of sectors.
He joins Irwin Mitchell from financial services firm Clifton Asset Management, where he pioneered a new alternative business funding portal for SME businesses which was championed by Chancellor George Osborne and also worked in areas such as business pensions, start-up funding and high net worth clients.
Irwin Mitchell recently announced continued growth in income after a year of significant investment including the opening of two new regional offices in Southampton and Cambridge, its continued high-level recruitment campaign and in a multi-media marketing campaign.
