AbsGroupPress_SmBolton integrated creative agency Absolute has appointed Simon Allman as creative director.

Allman spent almost 18 years at Origin Creative in Manchester working with clients such as the BBC, United Utilities, Henri-Lloyd, Brother and Manchester United.

He explained: “This is the perfect time to be part of an agency with a lot of potential growth and creative opportunity, even better that the main studio is based in my home town. I hope my wealth of experience can help Absolute build upon the quality of work that this agency has produced over the past few years and also help nurture local creative talent”.

The appointment comes at a time when Absolute claims it has seen significant growth in revenue and has also made three other appointments:

  • Faye Hodgkiss moves over from Manchester United to become account manager.
  • Shaun Barrio joining as front end developer
  • Melissa Fielding as office manager.

The agency is also currently negotiating with property developers in Central London to take over some studio space to open an office in the capital.

Absolute MD Chris Hodgen said the company had made a strategic change to how the agency was structured four months ago and more expansion was on its way.

“A welcome boost at the right time with such a wide variety of exciting projects on the go from full rebrands to integrated campaigns, custom web developments, CGI animations and presentation packaging.

“We are continuing our growth plan and expect to announce another three new staff appointments in the coming weeks.”
