Beattie Communications has recruited consumer PR expert Lyndsey Evans to lead its Manchester team.

Evans has over 14 years’ experience in delivering PR and marketing communications strategies for B2B, corporate and internal communications campaigns and offers a particular specialism in consumer PR.

She has previously headed up PR teams at Staniforth/TBWA and SASS Brand Communications, and has worked in-house for both Bentley Motors and Shop Direct Group.

The Beattie Manchester office works with brands including easyjet, Morrisons, Specsavers and Appliances Online.

Evans will also be responsible for establishing a quartet of new client wins, including food manufacturer On the Menu, law firm Browne Jacobson, public sector procurement specialists LHC UK and a key NHS Partnership Trust.

Victoria Walker, director at Beattie, said: “We are always on the lookout for exceptional people and we are proud to be welcoming Lyndsey to the Manchester team at such an exciting time. With experience across more than 70 brands in 15 different sectors, Lyndsey brings a strong portfolio of PR experience and significant strategic communication skills.”

Evans added: “I’m thrilled to join Beattie. The agency is such a major player on the UK PR scene with a covetable client list and enviable reputation. The agency leads the public relations sector in exploiting the commercial potential of the internet, comfortably straddling traditional and digital media channels – I can’t wait to get stuck in to building on this further in Manchester.”
