Wilson Cooke has made a series of senior appointments, including a new head of digital.

Garry Byrne, rejoins the Manchester agency from Powered by Reason, where he was managing director. The former MD of Reading Room Manchester had been technical manager of Wilson Cooke in the early stages of his career.

Other new recruits are client services manager, Michelle Bancroft, formerly of Milk Design and McCann Manchester, digital producer Céline Bourillot, content lead Matt Haigh and digital account executive Carl Beeston

“As an independent, fully-integrated marketing agency with over 20 years’ experience, we’ve learnt how important it is not to stand still,” said managing director Mark Law.

“These appointments are just the first phase of what we anticipate will be a big year for Wilson Cooke, both in terms of our agency development and the added value we can offer our partners.”
