Liverpool FC’s global airline partner, Garuda Indonesia, has changed the livery of one of its planes to reflect its sponsorship deal with the club.
It was done to coincide with their first ever match in Australia this week and the squad arrived on the plane featuring the Liverpool crest and the words You’ll Never Walk Alone written down the side.
“Our partnership with Liverpool FC is part of our ‘Quantum Leap’ program to transform the airline into a five star, global player in the aviation industry. Liverpool FC is one of the best clubs in the English Premier League, with a huge global fan base of more than one hundred million. We support their efforts to connect with these fans, and as their Official Global Airline Partner, we are proud to be able to bring them to this region,” said Bagus Y. Siregar, vice president for Garuda Indonesia Australia and SWP.
Following Manchester United’s tomato juice commercial, Liverpool fans will no doubt be pleased to know that players also feature in a new television advert to promote the partnership:
The company will also appear on LED boards around Anfield and has been given access to reach out to the club’s Facebook and Twitter followers.
