Frank Skinner is to front a new weekly talk show promoting content on the BBC iPlayer.
He will be joined each week on the 15-minute episodes by a different celebrity guest who will pick their favourite programmes on the catch-up service.
Skinner will talk to the guest at a location where they regularly watch iPlayer, from the tour bus to the car.
The first three guests on Frank Skinner On Demand With…, which will launch on November 13th, will be Lee Mack, Josh Widdicombe and Zoe Ball.
Skinner said: “As a kid, I had a recurring dream that I was alone in the local toy shop and could help myself to anything I fancied. BBC iPlayer feels a bit like that dream.
“But now I’m allowed to take a playmate, to show me the things they love that I might have missed. And everything they reach for tells me more and more about them. Come and join us in the best toy shop ever.”
The show was ordered by Victoria Jaye, Head of TV Content, BBC iPlayer and the executive producer is Ed Sleeman, Commissioning Editor for BBC Entertainment.
