Swizzels has launched a new campaign to mark 70 years of its Refreshers sweet brand.
The Great Community Refresh will run nationwide and focuses on giving back to the community.
It centres around 7 x £1000 community prizes – one for each decade of its existence.

“Just as Refreshers have been a classic favourite for generations – always adapting and staying fresh – Swizzels is proud to continue making a positive difference, bringing communities together in a fun and playful way and giving something back to those who have supported us for decades.

The money will support grassroots initiatives and neighbourhood projects that aim to uplift and ‘refresh’ local areas, from community garden makeovers to mural creations and communal space improvements.
It will include traditional PR and media outreach with a targeted digital and social media campaign.
Swizzels has also launched a new Refreshers Tropical Chew Bar in celebration of the landmark anniversary. The chew bar features mango & pineapple flavours “with the signature fizzy Sherbert centre.”
