Manchester AI company Peak is using its technology to optimise marketing operations and drive member satisfaction for insurance mutual Shepherds Friendly.

Shepherds Friendly provides straightforward personal finance to help organise and secure member’s finances for the future with a range of savings and insurance plans.

Peak’s AI platform optimises inventories, pricing, and customer personalisation for businesses of all sizes, deployed in weeks, not years, and using Peak’s Customer Intelligence application suite, Shepherds Friendly will be able personalise every touchpoint of the customer journey.

With a segmented view of its customer base, Shepherds Friendly will gain predictions of future actions and preferences, such as which products best meet each member’s portfolio objectives and which communications are most valuable to each member.

Subsequently, Shepherds Friendly’s marketing team can use AI to adopt personalised strategies that enhance brand and member relationships, providing an optimised and highly relevant experience for its members.

As part of a wider drive to grow its member base, Peak’s AI will also optimise Shepherds Friendly’s member acquisition strategy.

Max Jarrold, chief growth officer, Shepherds Friendly, said: “As a mutual organisation we’re always looking for opportunities to add value for our membership, and Peak’s AI applications will enable us to offer our members personalised and highly relevant interactions, supporting them in pursuing their financial objectives. We’re looking forward to working with the team at Peak going forward.”

Richard Potter, co-founder and CEO, Peak, added: “We’re proud to be a key partner for Shepherds Friendly as they embark on their digital transformation journey. As Peak’s first financial services and insurance customer in the UK, this highlights the versatility of Peak’s AI platform across multiple sectors, as well as an ambition for North West businesses to lead the way on AI adoption.”
