Josh Wheeler, the general manager of Markettiers Manchester, has left the broadcast consultancy after 18 months in the role.

Wheeler was put in charge of the Manchester operation last January, leading day-to-day client activity, team development and driving growth.

He originally joined the agency from AM in London in February 2014 as an account director.

Howard Kosky, CEO of the markettiers4dc group, told Prolific North that Manchester would remain a key location for the company, which also has offices in London and Dubai.

“As part of the markettiers network, Manchester is a key location for our continued growth strategy serving both the agency community and brand direct,” he said.

“The support of both has been crucial to our success, and look forward to this continuing for the future.”

Prolific North understands that Wheeler’s duties will now be split between several staff, including Jamie McNicholas, who has been promoted to account manager. Wheeler declined to comment when we contacted him.

Markettiers Manchester has worked with clients including The Co-op and United Utilities.
