It’s been confirmed this morning that VTR North has gone into administration.
The Leeds-based post production company has now officially appointed specialist accountants, Cowgill Holloway.
Managing director, Spencer Bain told Prolific North last week that the firm needed to restructure, following the closure of its Manchester operation in December last year.
He added that he hoped it would be “business as usual” so that the company had the “strongest platform on which to go forward.”
It transpires that Bain along with VTR North directors, Christopher Birks, Peter Connolly and Robert Noble formed a new company, CNBB Ltd on October 15th 2015.
Bain was unavailable for comment at the time of going to press, but only yesterday the post production house was completing work for Dr Who. It has also recently worked on a number of high profile adverts and television projects.
