A US-based IT company is expanding its Manchester team and opening two new collaboration hubs to meet its flexible working needs.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is launching sites in Manchester – at the city’s Circle Square development (pictured) – and Reading, “with teamwork, social connections and talent development at their heart”. Along with this, the company is launching a recruitment drive in Manchester, planning to expand its 225-strong team to around 250.
It also reports that it has refurbished its existing Bristol and Glasgow locations.
HPE provides services in servers, storage, networking, containerisation, consulting and support, and says its new spaces will foster a “dynamic and collaborative culture in which HPE team members can thrive”, focused on meeting rooms, lounges and open seating rather than individual desks.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise, which spun off from IT giant HP, opened in Manchester in 2019 and was based at the Manchester Technology Centre. Worldwide, it employs more than 60,000 and is headquartered in Spring, Texas.
