A Cheshire-based fintech has almost doubled the number of its account holders to 100,000 last year, despite the coronavirus pandemic.

Alternative banking solution Suits Me said that in the nine months since the first national lockdown in March 2020, it saw an extra 45,147 accounts opened.

It also grew headcount from 13 to 35 and launched its first TV campaign, on BT Sport, Dave, Dave Ja Vu and Sky Atlantic.

"We’re expecting continued growth throughout 2021 and will continue to work hard for all of our account holders.”
