Crisp has added more than 50 jobs since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic after increased global demand for its services.

The Leeds tech firm, which provide early-warning risk intelligence for leading brands, global enterprises and social media platforms, has grown its headcount by 56 jobs to 194.

The new roles are in linguistics, reporting, psychology, data protection, law and regulation.

Increased demand since lockdown has Crisp on track to hit an annualised recurring revenue of £26m in 2020, an increase of 60% from 2019.

Kirsten Brumfit, VP of People at Crisp, said: “Increased demand through existing customers, as well as newly-onboarded customers, has led to a need to build a larger team at our global HQ in Leeds. We’ve increased team numbers in every department, with a large number of hires in Human Intelligence.”

Adam Hildreth (pictured), CEO and founder of Crisp, added: “This has been a difficult year for everyone around the globe and we’re pleased that we’ve been able to support our customers in gaining an early-warning advantage over the rise in damaging digital chatter brought on recently by these challenging times. Although we are global in outlook, we’re a proud Leeds company and we’re delighted to be contributing to the local economy by creating more highly-skilled jobs in the region.”

Founded 15 years ago this month, Crisp was recently recognised as one of the fastest growing companies in the north by GP Bullhound, Sunday Times Tech Track and Tech Nation Future Fifty.
