In between polishing off the final draft of that new script, speccing up wire frames and generally checking deadlines…as we’ll all no doubt be doing over the festive season, here are a few dates for your 2014 diary that are worth noting.
Prolific North will be back publishing from Monday 6 January.
The inaugural Prolific North Awards were held in May this year and the awards dinner attracted over 600 guests and was by some distance the largest single gathering of creative and media industries folk in the North in 2013. The 2014 Awards dinner will be held on Thursday 1 May 2014 and will once again be held at the Point at LCCC. Detailed information about the Awards will be announced in the first week of January. The entry deadline is Friday 14 February.
Applications for the Prolific North/MMU Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Communications Management Course close on Friday 10 Jan 2014. The course starts on Thursday 30 January.
Digital SWOT, Prolific North’s first ever conference is being held on Friday 31 January. We’ve signed up a number of outstanding speakers and we’re expecting a busy day stacked with plenty of informative content, quality delegate engagement and a packed conference hall.
The full report relating to our Global Reach initiative will be published in January and at the end of January we will also be revealing the Prolific North Top 50 Digital Agencies.
On Friday 24 January we will be serving up a new weekly editorial initiative which we’re confident will prove extremely popular with our readers and will be following this up with a second entirely new weekly initiative in mid February.
And also in February – towards the end of the month – we’ll be unveiling our Top 100 Brands.
There are also plans for more features, more information initiatives, an enhancement of our growing jobs board and in the second half of the year, early notice of our second Northern Marketing Awards on 16 October.
We look forward to engaging even more next year with you our readers who now number almost 40,000 unique visitors a month – up from the circa 15,000 visitors we attracted in our launch month in January 2013.
