Reach has confirmed that it is to combine its Trinity and Northern & Shell sales functions.
Trinity Mirror Solutions and Northern & Shell sales will now operate as one national team, under the leadership of chief revenue officer, Andy Atkinson.
“The newly combined sales team will give advertisers access to over 45 million people in the UK a month,” he stated.
“As well as this valuable scale the portfolio represents diversity via nine politically and culturally different national newsbrands, the opportunity to reach people in the most trusted media environment via our 140 regional newspapers, and brand safety via our network of 60 professionally produced websites.”
It means that Northern & Shell’s commercial director, Toby Morris will leave the group.
“Toby has done an outstanding job leading the Northern & Shell commercial team over the past three years, and he has built a sales team who are highly respected across the market,” said Simon Fox, chief executive, Reach plc
“I would like to thank Toby for everything he has done and he departs with our very best wishes for the future.”
