Cheshire publisher looks to expand print reach

A Cheshire-based publisher is to invest in a roll-out of it print publications across the county.

Knutsford-based Junction 19 Media says it is “weathering the Covid-19 storm better than most”.

Now in its 15th year, the publisher is behind INCheshire and Prestbury Living magazines as well as INCheshire online.

Its circulation patch currently covers the ‘Golden Triangle’ area including the likes of Alderley Edge, Knutsford and Mobberley, but will now be extending its reach to areas including Holmes Chapel, Bollington, Macclesfield, Lymm, Grappenhall, Stockton Heath and Stretton.

It is then targeting Northwich, Middlewich, Sandbach, Crewe and Chester.

Group editor David Johnson said: “Niche publications such as ours, that appear to be targeting the right readership for a broad range of advertisers, are weathering the Covid-19 storm better than most.

“That is partly due to the fact our free distribution publications reach exactly the same number of affluent households and town centre businesses every single month – we do not have the upward / downward seasonal fluctuation in readership numbers like the traditional local and regional press experience.

“Celebrating our 15th year, we have seen more than 30 competitor publications – in print and online – launch and disappear during that period, so we must be doing something right!
